About Us:

As a result of the Defence team's recent success in securing contracts with the Commonwealth, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer.

Located at either our Adelaide Branch or in our Kings Park (NSW) Department you will have the opportunity to participate in the successful delivery of these new contracts across the business and be responsible to develop, implement and administer ILS activities for current Defence (Marine and Land) contracts and future projects for Penske Australia. 

What will you do?

  • Manage Defence ILS Product programmes of work packages. This will include configuring and building data and ILS documents, along with delivery against project schedule and customer requirements.
  • Develop the ILS documents necessary to satisfy each project requirement. This will include (but not limited to) Planned Maintenance Documentation, Sparing Analysis, Technical Manuals, Training Material and Conformance Certification.
  • Develop scalable ILS Documentation processes that will improve the accuracy and efficiency of delivery of Defence Projects.
  • Manage Project Technical Data such as Master Record Index, Bill of Materials, System Test Plans & Maintainability and Reliability Data - While ensuring that technical accuracy and configuration management requirements are met.

As an ideal candidate you'll have:

  • minimum of 2 years' proven experience in undertaking ILS roles, preferably in a Defence setting.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and/or ILS related disciplines.
  • Training in LORA, RAM and/or Training needs analysis.
  • Working knowledge of CoA ASDEFCON contracting templates.
  • Possess a clear understanding of the logistics process as applied to complex projects.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively, but equally as comfortable working autonomously using your initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision-making skills.
  • Possess strong organisational skills and have the ability to carry out your responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
  • Able to achieve and maintain Defence Security Clearance (to Baseline or above as the case may be). This requires the applicant to be an Australian Citizen.
