The Opportunity

Working within our in-house IT team, in this role, you will source prior imaging from all external providers – public, private, and interstate providers. Requests for prior imaging will be submitted to you by Radiologists, clerical and technical staff via email, online forms or InteleChat.  When time permits, you will also assist the IT Service desk with general IT support enquires.  This role will potentially provide a pathway into a role in the IT Service Desk team.

 Primary responsibilities of the role include:

• Undertake all prior imaging requests from all external providers (private and public).
• Receiving prior imaging requests via InteleChat (radiologists) and Email/Online forms (techs and clerical staff)
• Work with technical and clerical staff to make sure relevant patient information and consent is obtained for the request.
• Undertake retrieval of images from other providers 
• Contact any external providers in situations where there is no prior contact. Request access and credentials as required.
• When requested images are received, validate images against the correct patient.
• Time permitting, opportunity to upskill and learn IT – potential opportunity to move into a full time IT Service Desk position in the future.
• Respond quickly and courteously to telephone requests for technical support from radiologists and staff.
• Work collaboratively with Marketing, HR, Financial and Operations teams.
• Help IT department to meet service level targets.
