Job description

A fantastic opportunity is available to work with our great team in a rapidly growing and dynamic Registered Training Organisation (RTO) environment in Melbourne CBD. Using your well-developed communication and interpersonal skills you will work with our friendly and dedicated team to provide a professional support service to our students.   

Location:  Melbourne CBD

 Trainers/Assessors - Parttime and Fulltime positions available 

  • Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology 
  • Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology 
  • Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis 
  • Diploma of Automotive Technology 
  • Diploma of Leadership and Management 
  • Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management 
  • Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) 
  • Certificate III in Individual Support 
  • Certificate IV in Disability Support
  • Certificate III in Carpentry 
  • Advanced Diploma of Information Technology 
  • Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design 
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery 
  • General English

*Additional requirement for Trainers/Assessors

You must have Australian vocational qualifications, at least to the level or above and in addition to this you must hold one of the following credentials

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units:
  • either TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A, and
  • either TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B

Minimum Skills & Experience:

  • Able to work independently and autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrate excellent planning, organisational, decision making and negotiation skills with an ability to meet deadlines and operate autonomously
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the VET, CRICOS and ESOS Act and related regulations and government policies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of the Standards for RTO's 2015, National Code 2018, NVR requirements and ESOS Act 2000
  • Reporting to your line manager and maintaining compliance requirements in accordance with college Policy and Procedures.
  • Participating in audit, validation and moderation activities.
  • Ensure professional development is continuously maintained
  • Result-focused individual who is motivated by achieving and exceeding KPIs
  • 1 year of relevant work experience
