Reporting to: Head, Heart Valve Disease & Artificial Intelligence About you We are seeking a talented and accomplished computer scientist who wants to make a positive difference in the world through improvement in healthcare. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative environment with an innovative team and has experience building clinical user interfaces for artificial intelligence software. The role The Computer Scientist will be responsible for fulfilling a targeted role to develop a user interface for developed algorithms. You will be working on projects that aim to predict disease progression and optimise valve replacement selection and timing in patients with heart valve disease. You will support a dynamic laboratory that has a clinical focus and links to the Department of Cardiology at St Vincent's Hospital. Tasks will include user interface software development, testing, validation and iteration. This is a fixed term, milestone driven contracted position.
