Import Air /Sea Freight

About the companyLocated in Melbourne's northern suburbs, Our client is a well known organisation that is currently looking for a Import Sea and Air freight coordinator who is willing to grow with the business to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an environment where ongoing development is highly encouraged.The OpportunityAs the Export Sea/Air freight coordinator some of the responsibilities required to perform but not limited to are:

• Liaising with Clients, Carriers and our oversea's partners

• Deliver Exceptional Service to our Customers

• Coordinate FAK & FCL containers, Including but not limited to Co-Ordination of Bookings, Dangerous Goods, Container Packing and wharf Delivery

• Conducting 6 monthly CoR audits across all sites

• Assisting Sales with quotes, and first point of contact for issues on site
• Ensure Compliance with Australian Customs.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal & external customers to ensure high standards of service delivery.

• Client Invoicing

Skills & experience
To be considered for this role you must possess the following:

• A minimum of 2+ years experience in a similar position.
• Experience working in transport or logistics
• Possesses a problem-solving mentality and analytical nature.
• Ability to work in a high volume and fast paced environment is essential
• A high level of motivation and energy with a strong focus on achieving outstanding customer experience results
• Competence with Microsoft Programs
• Experience with EDI Enterprise will be an advantage, however not essential
