Reputable Australian owned International Freight Forwarder seeking a person with sound background in International Ocean freight Import & Export Operations for role located Botany Office. The role is handling day to day end to end requirements for Import Ocean and Air primarily incorporating customer service. This role would ideally suit a reliable person with approx 2-3 years local experience in local Operations.
ABOUT THE JOB
- You will handle processing of Import paper work, including registration, Invoicing, Customer support
- Sound operational background is required primarily for Ocean Import and limited Export freight, handling necessary paperwork within International Freight movements
- You will be confident to deal with customers on a regular basis with sound English communication skills and strong computer skills.
- Effective communication is essential.
- Cargowise1 software sought.
ABOUT YOU
- To qualify you must have a minimum of 2-3 years local experience in Ocean/Air Import Operations gained from a similar position.
- You must be able to work in a small team environment with minimal supervision
- You have excellent interpersonal skills
- You have excellent customer service skills
- You will need excellent computer and communication skills
To qualify for this role you must have current local experience in International Freight Forwarding.
