Form of workEpiq, Australia’s premium supplier of transcription services, has offices across Australia providing court reporting, e-discovery, e-trials, and transcription services for government agencies, law firms and corporates.
We are currently seeking a number of fulltime Transcribers to join our Brisbane office, working Monday-Friday between 9.30am-6pm.
Transcribers are responsible for the accurate and timely production of transcript in various styles and formats, utilizing a variety of audio types and production and research tools. Transcripts must be produced in accordance with contractual and client-driven deadlines with a focus on quality and accuracy.
About you:
You probably love to read. You have a commendable vocabulary, and wouldn’t mind embellishing it with some niche legal terminology. You type with ease, and with excellent spelling and grammar.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Availability to work fulltime, Monday-Friday between 9.30am - 6pm
- Typing speed of 70 wpm +
- Excellent English vocabulary and grammar
- Excellent reading comprehension
- Ability to use computers, and proficiency in MS Word
- Australian citizenship
- Residency in Australia
You will need to be willing to obtain or hold a National Police Check.
Prior experience in audio transcription is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
