Your Role and Responsibilities

As Graphic Designer and Content Producer, you will ensure that our creative and content projects achieve our strategic brand objectives and are delivered on-time and on budget.  

You will be a mid-level designer and content creator, with the ability to create compelling content that brings insights to life and achieves high quality storytelling that is ‘on brand’. You will be responsible for designing content, presentations, and managing our production pipeline, prioritising, and ensuring on time delivery of content and production projects. 

In addition, you’ll manage our roster of designers and agencies to help you deliver content on time and in budget.  You are the brand guardian for the business and responsible for the associated brand guidelines across the Hewitt family of brands. 

Your Primary Responsibilities will Include

  • Develop visually engaging presentations for internal stakeholders to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Design eye-catching graphics, banners, infographics, posts, and videos for our social media channels maintaining consistency in brand messaging and visual elements.
  • Create sales collateral, brochures, persuasive pitch presentations, and product information to assist our sales teams in their customer interactions.
  • Manage our digital asset library, organise assets, and maintain version control, specifications and templates, ensuring ease of access for team members.
  • Ensure the right external agency is engaged when required and manage projects from brief to completion to ensure consistent brand execution.
  • Assist with new product and brand development, and product launches, and manage development of brand identit(ies), style guides, and brand guidelines.
  • Manage the budget for all content and production. 

Skills & Experience

  • Passionate with creative flair – Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design with a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects.
  • An outstanding communicator – Ability to build rapport quickly and adjust to suit various styles, with the ability to understand what is needed.
  • Highly organised and planned – proven project management experience, adept at briefing, and able to work efficiently with outsourced partners systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Sound technically – with experience in the production of collateral, video, packaging, and photographic material. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, digital asset management tools, and demonstrated excellence in PowerPoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail; editing and proof-reading skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deliverables. 
  • Tertiary qualification in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an agency, studio environment or similar role essential.
