Our impressive and growing client based South of the River closeby to Jandakot, requires a talented in-house Legal Counsel to start in the next 1-2 weeks, for an estimated 1-2 months Fixed Term Contract period.
Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel you will be responsible for, but not limited to;
- Provide legal advice on contracts and negotiations.
- Dispute resolutions.
- Manage litigation through the use of external legal resources.
- Assist with insurance cost reviews.
- Governance and reporting.
- Assist with risk management.
- Engage with various internal Business Unit Managers and provide legal advice.
- Ad hoc in-house legal duties.
What you'll need to succeed
- Our client is happy to consider someone that has 2-8 years PAE in corporate/commercial environments.
- Ability to commence this role within the next 1-2 weeks.
- Experience in resolving contractual disputes.
- Strong understanding of Contract and Corporations Law.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to form good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll get in return
- This 1-2 months Fixed Term Contract in-house Legal Counsel position will look to pay between $120,000 to $145,000 + super per annum (which will then be pro-rata for the fixed term contract duration).
