In-House Tax Specialist (Full-Time Wfh)

The Opportunity

Maven Partners are working exclusively with a multinational veterinary group that are currently well-into the acquisition phase of their move into the Australian market. With over 500 veterinary practices in the UK, the business is highly-regarded, and are in the process of replicating their huge success in Europe to the Australasian market.

Due to the firm’s impressive growth, they are looking to bring on-board a Tax Manager to look over all Tax work relating to ongoing Australian acquisitions.

The successful candidate will work-from-home on a full-time basis but will be responsible for the working in a deal-focussed environment, where no two working days will be the same - as different acquisitions will require different tax work to be done.

The Role

• Prepare all tax compliance for all Australian entities - corporate tax returns, GST returns, BAS/IAS etc.
• Provide ad hoc tax advice and tax planning / structuring.
• Conduct research on tax statutes and regulations.

The Person

• Ideally qualified with a recognised accounting qualification (CA)
• Around five years of professional experience in accounting in professional services firm or commercial environment
• Driven individual with the ambition to be a part of a business going through a rapid growth phase
• Will be able to self-manage as part of the Australia team
