Main Responsibilities
- Data entry using different sources (software, excel, actual receipts, etc)
- Xero/MYOB/Quickbooks reconciliation and data entries
- Respond to clients' queries/phone calls/emails on a daily basis
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients
- Preparing financials, business activity statements, assisting in preparing income tax returns for all entities
- Liaise with the ATO, ASIC, banks, and other external entities on behalf of clients
- Assist other staff members if necessary
Successful candidate will have:
- Proved 3-5 years’ experience in a tax or business services role in a chartered accounting firm
- Great technical knowledge across the range of business services functions (including tax, compliance, and accounting issues)
- Sound experience with Xero, Handitax, MYOB, Excel & Word is essential
- Efficient data entry skills is a must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Driven, ambitious and eager to learn
- Able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
- Available immediately
