Address Tax Specialist - 6 month temp Your new company
Our client is an investment bank based in Sydney CBD. They are looking at hiring a tax & financial reporting officer to review tax, complete financial and other regulatory reporting for their superannuation fund and manage investment trust clients. This will be a 6-month contract.
Your new role
Review of business activity statements, distribution calculations, tax provisioning and tax returns
Review of financial statements, APRA and ABS regulatory reporting
Review reconciliation of accounting to taxable income
Support any additional clients' deliverables as required
Liaise with clients / auditors as required
Establish procedures and controls
Contribute to process improvements
Support new client onboarding activities and/or other projects as required
What you'll need to succeed
Tax and regulatory reporting experience for superannuation funds or managed investment trusts.
Strong accounting and tax knowledge, including the ability to respond to clients and their external auditor/advisor queries.
