And now, we are looking for a VM Operations Manager to join the team in this newly created role to manage the operations for all visual merchandising across ANZ JD Sports stores. The VM Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in seamlessly shaping the visual identity of ANZ JD Sports.
As the VM Operations Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
New Store Opening:

• Support the Commercial Operations Manager to action retail feedback on store layouts, ensuring optimal customer flow, product placement and correct BOH layout
• Liaise with the Buying and Merchandising teams to coordinate opening stock packages for new stores
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop visually compelling materials for all new store openings
• Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure correct fixture, collateral and consumables procurement for new and existing stores is accurate and to agreed budgets
• Maintain accurate records of new store Merchandise Breakdown Forms (MBF) and max capacity documents
• Liaise with key stakeholders to coordinate distribution of new and replacement fixtures
• Oversee and complete the documentation relevant to Visual Merchandising (VM) for New Store Openings and refurbishments
• Receive handover of new store from Property and handover to Area Retail Team

Budgeting:

• Support the Commercial Operations Manager to prepare and submit budgets for all VM collateral and fixtures for stores across ANZ
• Oversee ordering and budget adherence for VM collateral and fixtures

Visual Merchandising Operations:

• Communicate guidelines for campaigns in alignment with brand vision and Marketing brief
• Maintain accurate records of existing store Merchandise Breakdown Forms (MBF) and max capacity documents
• Produce Weekly VM direction and produce quarterly product communication
• Update ANZ VM guidelines in line with Global and local requirements
• Update VM Training Manuals as requested
• Responsible for communicating weekly VM directive
• Collaborate with Buying and Marketing on new brand fixtures/collateral

Who you are

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Visual Merchandising position
• Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Ability to extract and analyse data, readily sharing key trends and insights
• Previous experience managing multiple projects
