About The Opportunity
salt&pepper is growing! We are looking for a creative Casual Visual Merchandisers with strong industry experience, excellent communication skills & a positive can-do attitude, who can provide an excellent in-store experience through creative innovative practical displays while focusing on profitability, data analysis and best for business planning.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Define, design and implement a creative and relevant visual merchandising strategy for your region
- Create appealing and eye-catching merchandise displays that draw the consumer to our brands throughout the entire store
- Produce window displays, interior displays, floor plans and special promotion displays
- Identify key messages and set a clear image of the end result
- Produce, revise and present design ideas
- Act in alignment to the organization’s culture, products, image and target market
- Regularly change displays to promote new or featured products and reflect festive or seasonal themes
- Develop and foster strong relationships with the key people in your region to secure prime real-estate
- Consistently research and keep abreast of lifestyle and design trends
- Provide detailed reports to management highlighting opportunities and threats
- Complete necessary reporting back to key stakeholders
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Proven visual merchandising experience
- Demonstrable visual design skills with a strong portfolio
- Solid experience in creating window displays, signs, interior displays and space installation.
- Proficiency in word, excel, publisher
- Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Creative and innovative thinker
- Ability to analyse sales reports and survey results
- Full driver’s license and motor vehicle
- Ability to assist in new store openings
