Form of workZimmermann has an exciting career opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Supply Chain and Logistics Warehouse team as an Inbound Warehouse Assistant.
Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for receipting, allocating and dispatching finished goods and stock at our warehouse location in Alexandria.
As the Inbound Warehouse Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Sorting, organizing, and putting away inventory into the correct warehouse locations
- Liaising with transportation and logistics companies regarding deliveries and pickups
- Investigating stock discrepancies
- Handover of inbound goods to the relevant department or correct warehouse locations, coordinating goods movements to and from other offsite warehouse operations using the company vehicle when required
- Allocating and dispatching stock according to sales orders for our E-Commerce, Retail and Wholesale teams
- Assisting with stock takes on a bi-annual basis
- Ensuring that the warehouse is organised, neat and tidy at all times
What you can bring to the role:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience with AP21 & WMS is beneficial but not required
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Physical fitness as this role will involve some heavy lifting of stock and inventory (up to 20kg)
- A valid Driver's License is essential as you will be working between our warehouses in Rosebery and Alexandria
- High reach forklift license is beneficial but not required
