We are seeking an experienced senior accountant to assist with providing tax and Business Services advice to our growing client base.
This is a full time position and is available for immediate start. The senior accountant role reports to the Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal responsibility for a portfolio of clients within the team’s larger client base
- Client meetings
- Financial statements preparation for companies, trusts and partnerships
- Income tax returns preparation for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
- Business Activity Statements preparation
- Workflow and billing management
- Extensive use of Xero, MYOB, Xero Practice Manager including Xero Tax
- Mentoring junior staff through workflow as and when required
Key Requirements:
- CA/CPA post qualification with minimum 5 years of experience in a public practice
- Advanced knowledge of Xero, Xero Practice Manager including Xero Tax and MYOB
- Solid technical knowledge of accounting & taxation
- Strong analytical mindset and problem solving skills
- High level attention to detail and accuracy when producing written material
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
