The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced, energised and motivated Independent Sales Agent to drive growth of Corin’s orthopaedic products and technologies within the Tasmanian market. As an Independent Sales Agent and business owner you will be your own boss, shape your own future, set the standard for service excellence and realising your potential in this exciting and unique opportunity. Your primary objective will be to ensure attainment of sales objectives through enhancing current business and developing future business opportunities within your allocated territory of Tasmania.
Your responsibilities will see you:
- Become an expert across Corin’s entire product range, supporting existing customers and developing new opportunities
- Facilitate ongoing educational workshops on Corin products and applications ensuring their safe and effective use by multiple stakeholders
- Loving the technology, immerse yourself in the comprehensive suite of hip and knee arthroplasty technology products
- Study relevant clinical articles, surgical techniques, and other relevant data to build the necessary knowledge base to provide accurate advice to customers
- Maintain operational effectiveness by managing instrumentation and implant logistics between Tasmania and the Victorian office.
What you will contribute
Experience of at least 3 years within medical device sales, ideally within the field of orthopaedics. Through this you will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of successful selling and the ability to align the objectives of Corin with those of the customer ensuring service excellence and ultimately, optimal patient outcomes.
Specifically, you will have:
- Deep customer relationships and a broad set of contacts across the healthcare sector in Tasmania
- In-depth and relevant industry knowledge
- A bachelor’s qualification in business, life sciences or other relevant field of study
- Strong business acumen enabling financial and operational discipline
- Be able to think outside the square, showing a high level of initiative
- The ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated and demonstrate strong business acumen
- Possess strong presentation, communication, and clinical skills to effectively build relationships with surgeons and other key stakeholders
- Demonstrate an ability to rapidly understand complex technical information and exhibit a passion for continuous learning
- Be pro-active to seek out and take advantage of growth opportunities
