• Permanent/continuing, part-time appointment (14 hours per week)
• Level 6/7: $84,793 - $104,996 (pro rata) + 17% superannuation

This is an Identified position. The University of Wollongong (UOW) considers that being an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander is a genuine occupational qualification for this position under s14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).The Indigenous Student Success Advisor provides high level support to Indigenous students and is responsible for facilitating and participating in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student recruitment and cultural engagement activities.Working closely with the Woolyungah Indigenous Centre (WIC) this role will implement initiatives maximizing recruitment and retention in UOW catchment areas with significant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations. Delivering a suite of community engagement activities in accordance with the funding guidelines including Indigenous Student Success (ISSP) and Higher Education Pathways Partnership Program (HEPPP), this position will work closely to ensure current UOW students are supported and succeeding academically.*This position has been classified as 'child-related work”, more information is available within the position descriptionApplicants are requested to submit a CV and cover letter.
