About the role 

Aim

The Individual Giving team builds meaningful connection with several key donor segments including Individual Givers (IG), Regular Givers (RG) and unsolicited Mid-Level Donors (MLD) to raise critical funds for kids’ health.  

The Individual Giving team ensures donors have valuable and meaningful communications from the first interaction and donation to the Foundation. Donors will have a clear understanding of the impact their contribution makes and have clear path to convert, and upgrade based on their philanthropic needs.  

The Individual Giving Coordinator is a key part of the Individual Giving team and will provide support to key appeals and campaigns, acquisition programs, and stewardship for the team’s donor segments. 

Key Relationships: 

Key internal relationships include our Brand, Marketing and Communications teams, Supporter Services team and Data team. You will also work with fundraising teams to identify, evaluate, and steward prospective, current and past donors and where appropriate steward IG donors into new channels. External stakeholders will be Agencies, SCHN PR Department, Patient families and donors. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Direct Marketing 

  • Provide support across campaigns, appeals, programs and stewardship activities, including creating and coordinating briefs, content, project timelines, quotes and stakeholder communications.  
  • Analyse and report on key marketing programs and activities  
  • Monitor and manage a supporter calendar of engagement 

Retention and Re-Engagement of Supporters 

  • Coordinate and implement donor care activities to improve donor experience and increase donor retention  
  • Support the development, content creation, management and optimisation of user journeys and supporter experience for all programs.  
  • Effectively coordinate the fulfilment of donor journeys 

Administration Support 

  • Calendar and meeting coordination 
  • Ensure SCHF’s CRM system is managed and maintained for the team’s donor segments  
  • Help develop processes and systems to support the Individual Giving function, as required 
  • Coordinating quotes, invoices, payments and budget tracking 
  • Ensure regular communication of results and priorities through regular meetings, including WIPS and one-on-ones. 

Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Proven track record of administrative support and project/team coordination 
  • Proficiency in copywriting and content generation,  
  • Appropriate qualifications or relevant experience in fundraising or marketing. 
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate, engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across varying levels and backgrounds. 
  • Demonstrated resilience, persistence and problem solving to address challenges. 
  • Tertiary qualifications, preferably in a relevant discipline such as business, advertising, marketing or communications. 
  • Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database management 
  • Experience with Salesforce would be desirable.
