Our facility houses 18 modern and well-equipped injection moulding machines ranging from 60T to 900T, allowing for moulded product weights from 1g to 6,500g. Coupled with advanced automation and machining capabilities we are a one stop shop for all things injection moulding. Our customers are at the forefront of everything we do. We prioritize understanding their needs, challenges, and goals to tailor our solutions accordingly.Due to continued growth within the organisation, we have the exciting opportunity for an Industrial Designer to join our in house team.
This Full-Time role based on the Gold Coast will provide strong creative and technical support to our design, innovation and prototyping division, reporting directly to the Design & Innovation Team Leader.
As an Industrial Designer, you will be responsible for:
- Concept creation - Sketching, rapid cad models.
- Design Development & Detail Design
- CAD modelling and technical drawing, including surface modelling (Solidworks and/or Fusion 360)
- Utilize 3D printing and other rapid prototyping methods as required
- Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers, for production and sourcing
- 2+ years experience in Industrial Design
- Degree in Product/Industrial Design (required)
- Advanced Solidworks and/or Fusion 360 capability
- Be open to growing in the role to expand relevant experiences
- Have hands on experience in plastic injection moulding
- Be a positive, supportive team player
- Experience in ISO:9001 & ISO:14001
- Salary $70,000-$75,000 plus super
