This position is a full time role in the People and Safety team, based at the Moruya Administration Office. Your main duties will include:
– Providing expert interpretation of the Award and associated Industrial Relations, taxation and superannuation related legislation.
– Assisting in the management of staff grievances and disciplinary matters.
– Providing guidance and assistance with legislative and Award interpretation to the Payroll Team.
– Providing system focused technical expertise and recommendations to aid in the delivery of high level Human Resource services and continuous business improvement.
– Work with the People and Safety team to review and refine work processes and determine and provide system efficiencies and benefits.
You will hold relevant qualifications with 3 or more years practical experience in Industrial Relations and grievance management. You will be a high achiever with a can-do attitude and demonstrate the following: - Relevant experience in provision of high level payroll services and application of contemporary Award and industrial related conditions of employment. - Experience and familiarity with utilising and reporting from a Human Resource Management Information System and analysing data. - High level negotiating skills and strong stakeholder management with an ability to build and maintain functional working relationships.
