Industry Employment Partner (Des) Manufacturing

Exciting new opportunity for a purpose driven and results orientated Manufacturing professional to make a positive impact for people with disability.

As an Industry Employment Partner, you will be part of a successful not for profit organisation that is making a significant impact in the community. You will be part of an exciting new team and partnering with customers and employers within the manufacturing industry across your designated region(s). These regions are inclusive of but not limited to; Hurstville, Sutherland, Darlinghurst, Marrickville, Ashfield and Burwood.
As an expert in the manufacturing industry, you will increase the employment opportunities available for every customer of WISE Employment through strategic specialisation within local labour markets. You will utilise your savvy business development skills and industry knowledge and experience to build strong employer and industry partnerships creating employment opportunities for people living with a disability, injury or illness.
As part of your role, you will build strong relationships with colleagues across WISE’s network of sites to provide a wrap-around employment service to customers ensuring that customer goals and program requirements are achieved. You will deliver relevant industry workshops and information sessions to your customer base and employers, to establish strong marketing briefs for the customer that result in ongoing paid employment.

This opportunity is a full-time permanent position.
To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Car and full Australian drivers license
• Willing to travel to work sites as required
• Minimum 3 years experience in either manufacturing, customer service or sales
• Well-developed communication and relationship building skills. Strong stakeholder management and rapport building skills
• Strong self-management, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills at all levels
• Proven ability to maintain effective relationships to create desired outcomes
• Ability to manage a variety of projects concurrently with minimal supervision
• Willingness and ability to adapt to changes in organisational needs and priorities
• Ability to facilitate group sessions to generate leads and action items
• Demonstrated qualities of compassion and empathy with a commitment to a customer-centric workplace culture
