INF-196 Landfill Supervisor - Greenvale

This position is required to supervise the Greenvale Landfill on Saturdays between 8:00am and 12:00pm in

accordance with the relevant Council operating procedures.

Employment Status:  Part Time, Permanent

Award: Level 3 of the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream B) Award – State 2017

Salary Range: $28.15 per hour

The successful candidate will have:

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate a variety of hand held tools, small plant and equipment.
• Effective time management and ability to determine work priorities.
• Sound verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and comply with established policies, plans and procedures.
• Relevant knowledge of Waste Management practices.
• Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices, with the ability to identify, resolve and report workplace health and safety issues appropriately.

• Possession of General Safety Induction Certificate (Construction Industry) “White Card”.

• Possession and maintenance of a current ‘C’ class Queensland Drivers Licence.
