What’s on offer

In addition to receiving a salary and superannuation plus the ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits, we also offer a 60% staff discount on childcare.

About you

As an Infant Mental Health Consultant of this research replication site, you will have significant experience in direct clinical care within an Infant Mental Health service or similar.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in a Mental Health discipline as well as a post graduate degree or extensive training in infant and Mental Health, you will have demonstrated skills in leadership and supporting your colleagues in everyday practice.

Your ability to work effectively and respectfully in a leadership role within a multidisciplinary team where Mental Health is not the core discipline or main program focus will be key to this role.

About the program

Our Cooke Court Service aims to reproduce the results of an Early Years Education research program with our partners The Parkville Institute, the Australian Government Department of Education, the Victorian Government and Yarra City Council.

The results of the original trial showed significant improvement in children’s cognitive skills including language and speech, resilience, social and emotional development.

This service works with a multidisciplinary team of researchers to ensure the model is operating with fidelity and operates with lower child to staff ratios, a maximum of 48 children attending 5 hours per day Monday to Friday.
