About the Role
As a key contact in our Information & Records team, you will be the first level contact & support to the business in providing support and assistance to all employees using the Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS) and other related records queries.
Duties
- Provide first level support to all employees about all things records management
- Maintain records management practices, policy & strategy, both physical and electronic
- Maintain statutory government and manage reports pertaining to State Trustees records management.
- Update and manage the Business Classification System
- Manage 3rd party suppliers against contractual arrangements with State Trustees service levels
- Work with stakeholders to enhance current records management processes
Skills & Experience
- Experience in using an EDRMS
- Postgraduate qualification in Information Management or postgraduate qualification in a related area with practical experience in a Records Management environment
- Familiarity and experience in implementing legislation and standards affecting records management in the Victorian public sector including Public Record Office Victoria (PROV) Standards and the Victorian Protective Data Security Standards (VPDSS)
- Experience with key information management tools including business classification schemes and retention and disposal authorities
- Experience with working within a highly regulated industry to achieve information management compliance
