The Role
We have an opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Information and Records Management Officer to work as part of the Business Management Directorate in Headquarters Joint Capability Division (JCD). The position supports JCD through the provision of advice, support and training on Information and Records Management and web management.
This position is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that align with better practices, and are consistent with Defence and Group level policy and legislation. This position requires stakeholder engagement and will routinely liaise with stakeholders in relation to issues.
The position supports the Business Management Directorate in delivering business and administrative support functions and services to the division, including managing information repositories, internal information management platforms, development and improvement of internal business processes, data management, and knowledge management products.
Qualifications and/or experience in Information and Records Management, web management and training delivery will be highly regarded.

Headquarters Joint Capability Division provides high level support to the Division Head Joint Capabilities. The Business Management Directorate sits within Headquarters Joint Capabilities Division.
The position works as an integral part of the Business Management Directorate within Headquarters JCD. The Business Management Directorate manages the following functions - risk and governance, business and resource management, workforce management, contracting and procurement, security, Information and Records Management and web management.
