The Role
The ADC Information and Knowledge Management Officer has lead responsibility for the maintenance of Information and Records Management across ADC Weston. This includes, but is not limited to performing the lead Objective Work Group Coordinator role, and as providing advice, guidance and mentoring to stakeholders and work-group coordinators in relation to the life cycle of Information and Records Management continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of ADC information systems, with emphasis on Objective remediation and reform. You will also lead the SharePoint remediation project for ADC intranet sites, and manage ADC internet transition to GOVCMS. The role includes liaison with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including from across Defence Groups and Services.
About our Team
The Engagement and Operations team is a fun, high performing, and results driven team based at Weston Creek which supports Commander Australian Defence College (ADC) and the ADC leadership team. The team is responsible for all aspects of domestic and international engagement, coordination and information management across a range of activities. This includes Records Management and training, web page and SharePoint design and coordination.
Team members collaborate, as well as work autonomously to prioritise and deliver results to ensure high quality advice and support to the ADC executive. A major priority for the position is the continued remediation of Records Management systems and training of new personnel.
