About the role:
The Records and Information Team is responsible for providing operational support to the organisation in the management of Council’s records management functions, these include but are not limited to, document registration, access and retrieval of corporate information as well as supporting end users in the most optimal use of Council’s Document Management System.
We are currently seeking an Information Management Analyst for a period of up to 12 Months.
In this role you will be undertaking detailed analysis if Information Management requirement across all systems, platforms and applications to enable the development and implementation of Information Management solutions in line with legislative requirements and Council’s strategies.
A critical part of this role will involve comprehensive stakeholder engagement and consultation across the organisation to ensure that data quality meets regulatory requirements and that is reliable, accurate and accessible to inform decision making as required and support Council’s Information Management strategies.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Demonstrated experience with Electronic Records Management technologies and information classification schemes including their development, implementation, and maintenance.
- Advanced ability to research, analyse and recommend improvements to the organisation's use of the software
- Demonstrated system administration skills in an Electronic Document Management System environment and integrated corporate systems.
- Demonstrated experience in translating legislation and policies into sound Information Management practices to meet legislative
- Demonstrated experience in providing responsive and proactive customer service support to end
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally as well as a high level of reading and comprehension of technical
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and facilitating change management processes to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Intermediate project management skills.
- Consulting skills such as interviewing stakeholders, conducting architecture
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and establish effective working relationships with employees, vendors, and representatives of other
