Description & Requirements:
The information Security Officer is responsible for advising on the development, improvement, and management of the ISO/IEC27001:2013 Information Security Management System (ISMS) framework. Main activities will include:
Recommend security policy changes and enhancements as needed
Monitoring and certification of users and security profiles to provide assurance that all personnel have the appropriate security clearance and authorisation
Conduct Risk Assessments and audits and suggest mitigation controls and track remediation
Verification that systems are developed, operated and maintained in line with client data security policies, standards and processes
Support activities related to the governance processes, principles, and standards, and manage GDPR related activity, facilitate data and model expertise.
Manage the client audit program to minimise risk associated with client contractual and regulatory reequipments.
Assurance & verification that all suppliers are operating in accordance with the agreed contractual and legislative terms
Assessing information risk and facilitating remediation of security vulnerabilities with the Bravura Solutions network, systems and applications and coordinate response to information security incidents
Acts as liaison for internal management, external auditors, client auditors and business associate
Assist information Security Manager in ISO 27001 external assessments
Participation in the evaluation, selection and implementation of security products and technologies
Programme management for information security projects
To be successful in this role you will need:
5 years or more experience in risk assessment and internal audit with a background in Development or Network Engineering and database architectures and management SQL, Oracle etc) preferred
Industry Information Security Qualification, experience with CISSP, CISM, CISA or ISO27001 LI/LA and understanding of data Leakage Prevention technologies
Have a working knowledge of standards and regulations, including GDPR, CIS RAM, CIS Top 20, NIST, AICPA and SOC reports.
Information Security Incident Management and Encryption technologies.
Familiarity with Cloud and BYOD security
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with interpersonal skills that see you working cohesively with the global team and communicate with the business and its senior stakeholders
Demonstrate a ‘team player’ mentality, ability to work autonomously, with the willingness to learn and add value
Project Management experience is desirable
