Our client is looking for a dynamic individual to manage the Security Operations and deliver to the security outcomes that improve the security posture and maturity within the organisation covering vulnerability management, threat management, incident response management, disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
- An understanding of contemporary security and Incident response issues in a medium to large corporate environment.
- Oversee daily operations such as monitoring, incident response management, vulnerability management, threat analysis, and investigations. Ensure smooth and effective operations while following policies and regulations.
- An understanding of relevant security standards such ISO27001, ACSC 8 and the privacy act.
- Monitor threat intelligence and other security advisory services and prepare recommendations for Technology management on potential exposure and courses of action.
- Maintain our client’s disaster recovery and incident response plans.
- Security Incident Management including improvements such as automation to gain efficiencies, reduce errors, and increase the capacity of an enterprise incident response program.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Information Security risk management and cybersecurity technologies, methodologies, and trends in both business and IT
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
