The Traineeship
We’re recruiting a motivated, reliable, confident and keen trainee to join the Finance & Infrastructure Team with the Endeavour Foundation. You’ll be combining full-time work and have allocated time each week at work to participate in study.
The Certificate III in Information Technology is an entry-level qualification that will provide our successful graduate with the knowledge and a comprehensive set of technical skills along the way. Some of your day to day duties will include:
- Provide assistance to the ICT Service Desk Technicians with Level One ticket requests- delivery will be via telephone and in person, but may also be on- site or by e-mail
- Support the team with tagging/barcoding ICT assets for allocation to internal stakeholders
- Provide assistance in the actioning of requests for user accounts, mailboxes and access permissions
- Assist in the allocation and return of ICT equipment
- Assist with documentation creation and maintenance as necessary
- Learn to provide advice and guidance on the use of ICT applications
What will you bring to the role?
The team will help you develop during the traineeship, but there are some minimum requirements and key traits we’re looking for:
- The knack for learning technical tasks, systems & troubleshooting IT issues once trained
- A confident, friendly nature – you’ll enjoy talking to people and be a great communicator
- You’ll enjoy working in a busy environment that can change from day to day
- Experience in customer service would be highly regarded
- A well organised and motivated individual with an invested interest in developing professionally
- IT skills and a true interest in all things IT related – you’ll love your IT!
- Blue Card, NDIS worker Screening Check including a Fit2work police history check.
- Ability to work between 08:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday
