AddressOur client, a mining company in West Perth, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Accountant to join their finance department. This role is crucial in supporting the Senior Management Accountant with various accounts payable duties and other essential financial tasks.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting with the maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Assist with managing the capital expenditure process
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
- Processing invoices and conducting reconciliations
- Preparing purchase requisitions and AR invoices
- Providing coverage for the AP Officer’s duties
What you'll need:
- High level of initiative and attention to detail
- Experience with Pronto and payroll
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work cooperatively within a small team
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
