Infrastructure Architect

The Role:

This Government Department is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to develop the solution architecture for a infrastructure refresh program.

The Responsibilities:

• Develop the solution architecture documentation required for implementation in line with the departments ICT requirements, frameworks, processes and standards.
• Develop and maintain appropriately detailed architecture artefacts throughout the lifecycle of the environment, ensuring they meet the agreed quality standards and fulfil the Department's ICT reporting needs.
• Proactively identify, assess and manage the risk associated with the project implementation.
• Communicate with all stakeholders to ensure that the infrastructure refresh project remains on track manage by establish and maintaining strong, collaborative and productive working relationships.
• Demonstrate ownership through the proactive identification, analysis and remediation of issues that prevent project outputs or business outcomes from being met.

Skills & Requirements Required:

• Minimum 7 years experience as a Solutions Architect focused within ICT Infrastructure.
• Proven record of solution architecture delivery for large/complex ICT projects, such as ICT Infrastructure or eServices procurements and contracts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential to identify obstacles and provide solutions, while building effective work relationships.
• Prior Government experience is essential.
