Infrastructure Architect

Our client AGL are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join them on a contract role in Melbourne CBD. This will be in a hybrid working environment for an initial six months contract.The operations architecture team maps the way technology helps to achieve current and future business goals. Produces strategic and solution-specific architectures and technology roadmaps for operations, corporate and employee technology platforms and business solutions.This role ensures the operations and corporate technology solutions, current and future, supports business objectives. It has end to end accountability for operations and corporate infrastructure solutions and involved in applications.Key accountabilities of this role

• Contribute to ongoing technology strategies and directions
• Develop and maintain Operations and Corporate domain technology roadmaps
• Develop and maintain operations architecture guidelines and patterns
• Ensure, and where required develop, technology solutions that are fit for purpose and align to technology standards
• Provide advocacy and advise for technology solutions

You will have:

• Demonstrated experience in architecting, implementing, evaluating and/or supporting IT Infrastructure solutions including SaaS, Cloud, network, storage, communication, and security components.
• Network architecture, specifically Wide Area Network (WAN)
• Developing technology roadmaps
• Designing solutions for CCTV, Telephony systems & video conferencing
• OT Network services experience – designing new network for site, replacing the links from one vendor to another, Network communication uplift design and WAN design
• Understanding of SOCI compliance – network sensor solution design
• IoT Services, Back up and recovery solution for OT and Disaster Recovery for OT.
• Demonstrated skills in effective collaboration, communication (verbal and written) and critical thinking.
• Demonstrated experience is effective stakeholder and vendor management, people, and team skills.
• Sound understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, tools, and architecture development methods.
