SalaryOur client is a Prestigious Financial Services Organisation looking for an Infrastructure Engineer focusing on Azure & VMware.

Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day Infrastructure Operations from a capacity, availability and risk management perspective;
- Provide full infrastructure support of the various business units across the Link Group and any subsidiary as required
- Design, develop and support standard Link Group IT infrastructure to meet business requirements
- Support cloud workloads in Azure.
- Provide technical support to assist in the resolution of Infrastructure related incidents
- Provide a technical escalation point for 3rd parties in the ongoing support and management of the IT infrastructure
- Provide a technical lead as required to own and manage the delivery of IT infrastructure projects as directed
- Participate in the delivery of technical solutions for other IT infrastructure projects as required
- Provide technical support for escalated Severity 1 and 2 issues as required
- Provide technical support services to other project teams as required
- Provide front line Network support to group wide network infrastructure.
- Ensure audit and compliance protocols are reviewed and complied with.
- Provide technical input into Crisis/Incident Management as required.
- 2-3+ years’ experience in virtualisation technology, Azure and On Premise
- 5 Years’ experience in the design, implementation and support of a wide range of IT infrastructure systems
- Very strong understanding and experience with Windows Server 2008R2 / 2012R2 / 2016 / 2019
- Experience with VMware & Hyper V
- 5 Years’ experience in a mission critical financial services environment within a Infrastructure Engineer or Systems Engineer role.
