The Opportunity 

As part of the Settlements & Customer Operations Division of La Trobe Financial, your primary responsibility will be to support Credit Analysts in the assessment, recommendation, submission and timeline management of Residential/Investment and Commercial Loan Applications.

Key Responsibilities 

• Monitoring, supporting and maintaining the group’s Infrastructure systems including Active Directory, Exchange, VMware etc. 
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Provide support for all in house applications delivering an exceptional level of customer service at all times. 
• Planning and deploying upgrades and enhancements to all operational infrastructure, including but not limited to servers, computers, network devices and phone systems.
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement fixes.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the manual intervention time on any tasks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to resolution or escalate when required. 
• Planning and prioritising tasks. 
• Maintain a good working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends.

About you

• Previous experience in a similar role OR in a Service Desk role.
• Experience within Financial Services is highly advantageous.
• Sound understanding of server/client communications 
• Solid technical background in a hosted services environment including infrastructure networks, hardware, software and phone systems
• Good analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Good attention to detail, testing and documentation
