The Opportunity
As part of the Settlements & Customer Operations Division of La Trobe Financial, your primary responsibility will be to support Credit Analysts in the assessment, recommendation, submission and timeline management of Residential/Investment and Commercial Loan Applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring, supporting and maintaining the group’s Infrastructure systems including Active Directory, Exchange, VMware etc.
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
- Provide support for all in house applications delivering an exceptional level of customer service at all times.
- Planning and deploying upgrades and enhancements to all operational infrastructure, including but not limited to servers, computers, network devices and phone systems.
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement fixes.
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the manual intervention time on any tasks.
- Troubleshoot technical issues to resolution or escalate when required.
- Planning and prioritising tasks.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends.
About you
- Previous experience in a similar role OR in a Service Desk role.
- Experience within Financial Services is highly advantageous.
- Sound understanding of server/client communications
- Solid technical background in a hosted services environment including infrastructure networks, hardware, software and phone systems
- Good analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Good attention to detail, testing and documentation
