Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing Infrastructure department in the AU (Melbourne district). Help us keep the capital.com network secure and manage various technological equipment, establishing protocols to minimise the risk of errors.

Responsibilities:

• Work with robust customer support departments in different time zones, helping resolve network or telephony problems throughout the day
• Stay closely connected via all communication channels with other departments, complying with company standards
• Participate in frequent audits with other teams; update and write the policies we use
• When faced with a problem that alters network performance in a busy environment, assess the situation, identify possible solutions and select the option that provides the best results for capital.com
• Prevent outsiders from accessing the network and any files it contains or devices connected to it, keeping the company's network secure; monitor and improve digital security
• Manage the various technological equipment in a company. This includes both the hardware needed to manage and maintain the company's network, as well as the individual computers and devices that employees use to interact with the network
• Establish protocols to minimise the risk of errors in the equipment the company uses and oversee the correction of any errors that occur
