About the role
- As part of the team reporting to the Head of IT Service Delivery, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and performance of our ICT infrastructure;
- Your duties will encompass overseeing all aspects of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user computing. Additionally, you'll provide guidance and support to two IT Infrastructure Engineers in NSW to maintain exceptional service deli; and
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders such as the IT Services Manager, IT Applications Manager, Head of Information Security, ePMO, as well as external parties like Managed Services Providers, Telecommunications Providers, and Technology Providers will be integral to your role.
Your responsibilities will also extend to:
- Efficient management of technology partners and service providers;
- Ensuring uptime and optimal performance across all infrastructure components;
- Proactively monitoring and addressing issues as they arise;
- Implementing robust security measures and disaster recovery plans;
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations; and
- Providing after-hours support when necessary.
To thrive in this position, you should have.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (a master's degree is preferred);
- Over 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management;
- Proficiency in managing server, network, and security systems;
- Sound knowledge of IT security best practices;
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.Both independent and team-oriented work capabilities; and
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
