About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Facilities and Infrastructure Manager with a strong background in Facilities and Infrastructure Operations. With proven experience working within an Integrated Services Model who can Provide technical & management service and support to clients as required.
Key Duties
In this role you will be expected to:
- Extensive experience in the design, developments and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Strong project management skills to manage multiple contractors.
- Implement and maintain property management policies and protocols.
- Provide technical & management service and support to clients as required.
- Manage the contract delivery in all aspects of the Services Agreement ensuring that all KPI's are met.
- Ensure compliance with portfolio-related policies and processes.
- Facilitate planning and programming of service and activities, manage preventive maintenance schedule, including statutory and non-statutory tasks.
- Manage and co-ordinate maintenance planning via CMMS operations including updating of all necessary, assets, input data and output reports.
- Oversee property contracts and obligations for specific sites.
- Implement and maintain property management policies and protocols.
- Provide technical & management service and support to clients as required.
- Experience in conducting Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for control systems and package units.
- Ability to review engineering designs related to facility projects, ensuring compliance with operational requirements and accreditation standards.
- Prepare budgeting for infrastructure projects and producing relevant site-related financial and statistical reports.
Skills and Experience
You will have:
- Qualified or experienced in Facilities Management and Infrastructure Operations for over 10 years on research or commercial facilities.
- Proven ability in working within an integrated services model delivering a Property, Facilites, Project, and Financial Management Services.
- Strong knowledge of CMMS systems.
- Broad knowledge of Technical Services, in particular electrical and instrumentation issues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills ensure effective and courteous interaction with colleagues, contractors, visitors, and scientists.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated business planning and high-level financial knowledge and skills.
- A good level of capital works & asset management experience.
- Knowledge of Building Code of Australia, Building Regulations, WHS Act, and other laws.
