Injury Coder

We are looking for an experienced medical professional to join our National CTP Injury Coding team as an Injury Coder on a permanent, full-time basis.As an Injury Coder, you will not only have access to comprehensive training and a supportive team environment, but you will also benefit from flexible operating hours spanning from 7am to 7pm, tailored to fit your lifestyle.Additionally, we offer a hybrid working environment which allows you to work from home with office attendance once a fortnight.What you'll do

• Review, analyse, interpret and accurately input injury code CTP claims using the AIS2008 or AIS2015 in accordance with legislative requirements
• Conduct audits of claims to check coding accuracy
• Perform administrative tasks that support the provision of coding services
• Contribute to a collaborative work environment to achieve team and department goals
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Rehabilitation and Claims staff
• Participate in strategic planning processes and complete identified projects/tasks
• Any other work as delegated by Leader or Technical Officer

What you'll bring

• Bachelor of Health Science (Majoring in Health Information Management) or allied health qualification is mandatory
• AIS 2015 or 2008 qualification would be preferred but not mandatory
• Excellent analytical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Flexible and quick learner within a dynamic work environment
• Proficient computer skills
• Experience in a clinical coding role or with a Personal Injury Insurer highly desirable
