Reporting to the Healthcare Manager, you will be responsible for support to both your aligned team and broader business to help injured people bring their lives back together following a workplace accident.The key responsibilities of this role are:Provision of appropriate rehabilitation advice and recommendations in accordance with the appropriate legislation and guidelinesImplementation and monitoring of appropriate treatment, rehabilitation and attendant care needsAssisting with the coordination of departmental rehabilitation servicesCoaching and mentoring Claims Staff in best practice Injury ManagementWhat does success look like?Extensive experience in a workers’ compensation claims role or similar roleExperience in Allied Health, Clinical, supervisory and/or workplace-based rehabilitation experienceBroad knowledge of workers compensation laws and compliance obligations with a core focus on legislative knowledge and work capacity decisionsDemonstrated experience in supporting Case Manager coaching, decision making and technical claims management.Excellent people, communication, written, and networking skillsAbout QBEWe can never really predict what’s around the corner, but at QBE we’re asking the right questions to enable a more resilient future – helping those around us build strength and embrace change to their advantage.
