About the role
MSS Security is looking for a Injury Management and Return to Work (RTW) coordinator to manage the Injury Management and return to work and claims strategy associated with all NSW + VIC/TAS workers compensation claims. The role will also include management of work-related injuries and to actively engage with the Line Management and the National HSEQ Manager.
This role will require you to travel intrastate and interstate.
If you are RTW personnel passionate in driving and delivering favourable outcomes that support workers compensation premium reduction and promote early return to work activities then this role is for you!
Your duties as an Injury Management and RTW Coordinator will include, but are not limited to:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, workers' compensation laws, and company policies
Work collaboratively with the Insurers and legal to achieve desired RTW outcomes and resolution of workers compensation claims, ensuring responsible financial claims management
Administer workers’ compensation case files and recover-at-work plans.
Plan, develop and implement pro-active Injury Management and rehabilitation strategies
Accurately complete administrative tasks associated with Injury Management, fitness for work and workers compensation
Drive a culture of timely deliverables from insurers in the authorising and processing of weekly compensation payments and reimbursements
What we are looking for:
Demonstrated experience in Claims and Injury Management associated with physical and psychological injuries/illness
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Workers Compensation legislation in New South Wales and Victoria + Tasmania
Return to Work coordinator certified
Strong knowledge of and in developing and implementing Injury Management and return-to-work programs.
Proficient in data analysis and report presentation.
Maintain high confidentiality standards, and strong focus on effective workload prioritisation skills
Excellent communication skills for building relationships
Full Australian working rights
Willingness to travel within and interstate travel - New South Wales and Victoria + Tasmania
