Injury Management Coordinator

Key Accountability:

• Minimize injury duration and impact by collaborating with injured associates, stakeholders, insurers, and health professionals.
• Manage the lifecycle of workplace Injury Management, aiming for successful return to work while reducing risk and costs.

Position Key Responsibilities:

• Develop tailored Return-to-Work (RTW) plans and support evidence-based treatment.
• Conduct collaborative case reviews to address barriers to rehabilitation.
• Assist in managing complex claims and coordinating external assessments.
• Facilitate case conferences and oversee Workers’ Compensation claims.
• Engage with injured workers and managers to support their return to work.

Ideal Education / Qualifications / Competencies:

• Tertiary qualifications in an allied health discipline.
• Understanding of managing psychosocial risk.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in retail or warehousing.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships.
• Empathetic nature and strong administrative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of relevant legislation.
