Key Accountability:
- Minimize injury duration and impact by collaborating with injured associates, stakeholders, insurers, and health professionals.
- Manage the lifecycle of workplace Injury Management, aiming for successful return to work while reducing risk and costs.
Position Key Responsibilities:
- Develop tailored Return-to-Work (RTW) plans and support evidence-based treatment.
- Conduct collaborative case reviews to address barriers to rehabilitation.
- Assist in managing complex claims and coordinating external assessments.
- Facilitate case conferences and oversee Workers’ Compensation claims.
- Engage with injured workers and managers to support their return to work.
Ideal Education / Qualifications / Competencies:
- Tertiary qualifications in an allied health discipline.
- Understanding of managing psychosocial risk.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in retail or warehousing.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships.
- Empathetic nature and strong administrative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of relevant legislation.
