Injury Management Coordinator

Coordination of Injury Management services for staff members with work related and non-work related injuries across a geographically dispersed organisation.Our client is has an opportunity for a highly enthusiastic candidate to manage the coordination of Injury Management services for staff members with work related and non-work related injuries across a geographically dispersed organisation. This involves achieving a timely, efficient and sustainable return to work. The role is the focal point for all contact, liaison and review, particularly with the injured member, their supervisor, treating doctor, and accredited rehabilitation provider, if necessary. This includes managing the entire Injury Management process including best practice early intervention, development of return to work plans, facilitation of case management meetings, strategic claim file reviews and records management (to SafeWork standards). You will also manage and monitor the Service's workers compensation premium by monitoring deposit and hindsight premium triggers, monitoring premium impacting claims and participating in insurer claims review meetings and communicating premium forecasts and trends to key internal stakeholders. The role will have two direct reports.Suitable candidates will have a Return to Work Coordinator Certificate and have a minimum of two years' experience in injury case management including monitoring and forecasting insurance premiums and reporting on key performance indicators and other measures. You will have a good knowledge and understanding of WHS legislation and have a track record of managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders whilst exercising a high degree of judgement and discretion. You will have a current knowledge of WHS legislation, policies and procedures for effective management of injury cases.Like to know more?
