The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity now exists within a leading government entity organisation for an Injury Management professional to come on board, with a focus on early intervention and injury prevention.
About the role:
The role reports to a Health, Safety and Wellbeing manager and sits within the broader people, culture and safety team.
Duties:
- Provide Injury Management advice and support to employees and managers
- Liaise with injured staff to manage, plan, monitor and support their Injury Management / RTW process.
- Liaise with treating medical providers
- Conduct job site assessments and reviews with injured staff and their managers
- Play an integral role in supporting the development and implementation of an Injury Management process to support managers in becoming self-sufficient within RTW requirements
Skills & Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of workers compensation legislation in Victoria
- Demonstrated experience working in Return to Work, Injury Management and early interventions
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral
- Strong consultation skills across all levels of staff and external providers
- Return to Work Coordinator certificate/Allied Health background
