On behalf of Chevron, a global lead energy company, we are looking for an experienced INLEC Technician.
During the Jansz-Io Compression (J-IC) Project the Field Control Station (FCS) Inlec Technician will be a member of the preoperations team and FCS campaign team.
Duties will include supporting the J-IC FCS detailed design, training and competency assurance for the FCS Campaign team, input to and validation of the FCS operating and maintenance procedures / work instructions and tabletop exercises to validate the support and logistics procedures for the Jansz FCS.
The FCS campaign team will deploy to the construction yard and offshore to support commissioning and start-up of the Jansz FCS. The team will be an integral part of the commissioning and start up team and will be required to have international mobility.
Health, Environment and Safety:
- Role models HSE behaviours.
- Conduct activities on the Jansz FCS in accordance with Operational Discipline, ABU Managing Safe Work process and procedures and the requirements of the Jansz Safety Case and Environment Plan.
- Ensure incidents and near misses are reported and effectively investigated.
- Ensure that all scheduled WO’s is compliant to all Chevron HSE / MSW systems / processes.
- Maintain a level of health and fitness to provide Emergency Response capability.
Gorgon Maintenance & reliability Team:
- Provide Electrical & Instrumentation technical support, validation of work packs, and OEM Vendor liaison and direction in the lead up to, planning & execution of Committed Work Schedules.
- Ensure work is completed as per the Committed Work Schedule.
- Ensure materials and equipment for campaign execution is inspected, validated and transported.
- Monitoring of FCS systems and ensure anomalies are investigated and addressed.
- Conduct maintenance activities to achieve and maintain uptime performance of all critical production processequipment within the Jansz FCS & Gorgon LNG Plant.2/2
- Identify and assess deviations.
- Identifying and executing improvement of equipment, processes, and procedures.
- Isolation and restoration of Hazardous Energy as per scheduled WO activities on the FCS
Maintenance Activities & Secondary Responsibilities:
- Execution of maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with all company and statutory Electrical & Instrumentation inspections, testing and ongoing development of maintenance processes, tasks, plans, procedures, and equipment spares.
- Fluent in Control Systems access and interrogation.
- Conversant in Power Generation principles and fault diagnosis.
- Displayed previous experience in HV network fundamentals and HV Isolations.
- Prepare to provide food preparation, and accommodation hygiene services.
- Ability to hold a Maritime Security and Identification Card (MISC).
- Ability to complete TBOSIET certificate.
- Provide Deck operations & logistic services.
- Provide dogging/ rigging.
- Dangerous Goods & inventory management
- Supply boat cargo transfer.
- Bunkering/bulk liquid transfer.
- Helideck Operations.
Emergency Response:
- Demonstrated competence as per training profile.
- Member of FCS Offshore Emergency Response Team.
- Coxswain for survival craft.
- Execute Emergency Drills to maintain fluency and competency
- Cert IV Electrical Instrumentation and Controls.
- Unrestricted WA EW license
- Minimum of 5 years' experience preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well at all stakeholder levels.
- Comfortable working outside of comfort zone.
