Due to growth they are now seeking an Innovation Project Manager to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The role:
The Innovation Project Manager will be taking lead and will be responsible managing existing projects, cultivating a robust pipeline, and collaborating with key stakeholders across Retail, Foodservice, and QSR channels.
- Lead the commercialisation and Innovation projects from ideation to launch.
- Cultivate executional excellence through effective communication and accountability.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of Innovation Projects.
- Assess project feasibility, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
- Develop and communicate project timelines and milestones.
- Facilitate team input into Stage & Gate processes and IMS for data accuracy.
- Present project updates at monthly Innovation Stage & Gate meetings.
- 2+ years’ experience in end-to-end Project Management / Innovation within a large scale FMCG or food manufacturing organisation, critical.
- Exposure to working cross functionally with large breadth of functions such as Sales, Quality, RND, Category
- Prior experience in New Product Development (NPD) and project management to drive innovation initiatives.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, adaptive environments while maintaining accountability.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work at pace and under pressure adhering to conflicting deadlines to drive outcomes.
- Resilience and adaptability, with a hands-on approach to tasks.
- Organised and methodical in project management and documentation.
- Proficiency in the MS Office package.
