The Inpatient Mental Health Occupational Therapist will be a valued member of the Kerferd Unit team and will be required to provide a recovery focused, trauma-aware occupational therapy service to the Inpatient Mental Health unit. A key role of this job is to oversee the planning, coordination, and evaluation of the therapeutic group program in both the low dependency and intensive care area of the unit, as well as working with individuals currently receiving acute psychiatric care.
We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity;
MANDATORY:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current Drivers Licence
DESIRABLE:
- Membership of Occupational Therapy Australia and relevant Special Interest Groups/Associations
- Post graduate qualifications in Mental Health
Employment Type: This is a fulltime opportunity, 40 hours per week with ADO.
