About the role

Bring your expertise in sales and people leadership and drive productivity, innovation, and process improvement to our team of dedicated Inside Sales Account Managers.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager – Inside Sales to join a dynamic and highly engaged team with a great culture and become an integral part of the Officeworks B2B Leadership team. Leading a team of up to 11 Account Managers and reporting to the National Manager - Inside Sales, you will be an integral part of the B2B Leadership team, responsible for coaching, motivating, and empowering your team to provide exceptional customer experiences and deliver profitable sales growth.

 

Our Inside Sales team manages 6,500 small to medium businesses with each Account Manager directly responsible for a portfolio of customers. Over the phone, the team develop trusting relationships, understands their customers unique business requirements and tailors solutions to help make bigger things happen.

 

We offer great flexibility, working from our North Rocks office and at home in a hybrid working arrangement.

 

As the Sales Manager – Inside Sales you will:

  • Develop and execute Inside Sales team plans, aligned to overarching B2B strategy.
  • Support the continual improvement of measurement and reporting capabilities
  • Help to create an environment in which processes are designed and continually improved to achieve productivity/efficiency objectives
  • Achievement of all related targets at a team level (Sales, Margin, Expenditure and others as req’d)
  • Grow, coach and mentor a team of Inside Sales Specialists to continuously improve rates of existing customer growth and account retention

About you

You are an experienced sales leader, with a background in B2B sales. You are people-centric and thrive on developing productive, high performing teams whilst creating a supportive and engaging team culture.  Building sales capability within your teams and seeing them flourish is what makes you a great leader.  In addition, you will have:

 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in B2B sales.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in people leadership, managing similar size teams with a good understanding of Inside Sales.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and coaching Sales Teams.
  • Experience with Salesforce, SAP CRM and PowerBI is a bonus.
  • Proven experience in building, maintaining and improving the quality of sales pipelines and developing strategic plans and initiatives (eg volume, value, win rates and pipeline velocity)
  • Experience in forecasting and influencing sales performance at a team level.
