ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role will be supporting the Senior Client Service Manager in a variety of areas across the business including Merchandising, Assembly and Sales. Your new role will primarily focus on stores located in Victoria & Tasmania and involve the following:
• Training new Merchandisers
• Securing and building promotional displays and Off Location
• Demonstrations and Trade Events
• Leave coverage
• Seeking out new business opportunities to enhance FIT’s stable of clients in Independent Hardware and other Retail outlets
• Maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders including clients, suppliers and other team members
• Ensuring our clients’ products are represented, displayed, and maintained in accordance with each client’s expectations to achieve maximum sales and promotion of their product(s)
• Assisting Bunnings team members and other suppliers in completing POG compliance
ABOUIT YOU:
• Demonstrated experience in a Merchandising, Sales, Team Leader role (or similar)
• Experience within the Hardware/Retail industry
• Current drivers’ licence
• Ability to travel regionally, as required
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and deliver on promises
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven relationship building ability with internal and external stakeholders
• Good computer skills with a flair for portable technology; and last but not least
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to bringing your A game every day
**Please note, the successful candidate will have availability between Monday to Friday, between 7am - 6pm to carry out full time / 38 hours per week role**
